The Power of Finding a Perfect Audience

Nearly 90% of people between the ages of 18 and 29 use at least one form of social media. By 2023, the number of social media users in the United States is forecast to increase to approximately 257 million. Not only does social media connect us in ways like never before, it has the power to build loyalty and influence buying decisions. These facts should encourage small businesses and large companies alike to tap into social media platforms and create engaging content for their audience base. 

One important strategy to remember when developing content is to post fresh content. Reposting the same content across every channel can create a dullness surrounding your brand and leave users feeling unengaged, and eventually you will lose them as followers.

Another tactic is to use the appropriate tone across platforms. For channels that are more serious, such as LinkedIn, a professional tone of voice is suggested. For more casual platforms such as Twitter and Instagram, an informal tone is commonplace. But remember, talk to people like people, not leads. It is sometimes easy to forget there is an actual person absorbing the content on the other end of the screen. They wanted to be treated as such and not just as a sale.
